TF? Current NBA player shot dead while 'burglarizing' a home

Current New Orleans Pelican player Bryce Dejean -Jones (pictured above) was killed early yesterday morning May 28th in a home in Dallas. Police say he was shot dead while burglarizing the home. People are finding the burglary story strange because this season Bryce made $169,883. Below is the report from Dallas Police:

On May 28, 2016, at approximately 3:20 am, Dallas officers responded to the 2500 block of Bennett Avenue regarding a shooting. Upon arrival officers found one individual had been shot.

The resident of the apartment reported that an individual had kicked open the front door and entered his apartment. The resident, who was asleep in the bedroom, heard the individual enter and retrieved a handgun.
He stated he called out to the individual, but was not answered. As the individual kicked the bedroom door, the resident fired his gun.

The individual left the apartment and collapsed in the breezeway. The individual was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

This offense is documented on case number 127685-2016 and Dallas Police Homicide is conducting an investigation.

Diego Simeone: Atletico Madrid manager questions future

Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone says he will "start thinking" about his future with the club after Saturday's Champions League final defeat.

European migrant crisis:: Shipwrecks 'kill up to 700 migrants'

Up to 700 migrants are feared drowned in a series of shipwrecks off the coast of Libya in the last few days, the UN refugee agency says.

The boats sank south of Italy on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as the migrants tried to reach Europe in unseaworthy vessels.

Spring weather has led to a surge of people attempting the perilous crossing from Africa to Europe.

It is now a key migration route since a deal curbed numbers sailing to Greece.

Carlotta Sami, spokeswoman for UNHCR, gave details of the shipwrecks:

• Almost 100 migrants are missing from a smugglers' boat which capsized on Wednesday. Horrifying pictures of the incident and its aftermath were filmed by rescuers.
• About 550 other migrants are missing from a boat which overturned on Thursday morning after leaving the Libyan port of Sabratha on Wednesday. Survivors said the boat had no engine and was being towed by a second smuggling vessel.
• In a third shipwreck on Friday, 135 people were rescued, 45 bodies pulled from the water and an unspecified number of others are missing.

Meanwhile, the MSF Sea group suggestedthe death toll from the last week could be as high as 900.

Survivors are being taken to the Italian ports of Taranto and Pozzallo.

Meanwhile, the Italian authorities have said the rescue of more than 600 migrants off Libya on Saturday by a flotilla of EU ships took the weekly total to at least 13,000.

The rescues were the latest by a multinational patrol of ships operating in the Mediterranean.

Kanye west office robbed

TMZ reports that Kanye's creative studio located in Calabasas, California was broken into while he was away in London and his people fear it is an insider job. The burglary was discovered the next day and police arrived to discover a door had been forced open and $20000 worth of computers stolen.

Thanks to some forward thinking by Kanye and his team, the thieves won't be able to access the material on the computers which contain info on several of Kanye's projects.

According to a source, they had 'heavy-duty tech security' in place so that material on the computers cannot be accessed or leaked.

Due to the nature of the theft, Kanye's team believes it could have been an inside job as it looked as if it had been carried out by someone who knew what was in the office.

Three shot at New York concert

NEW YORK — At least three people have been shot at a concert in New York City on Wednesday (May 25).

The shooting occurred  at Irving Plaza, near Manhattan’s Union Square.

Rapper T.I. was performing at the venue at the time.
Police say two men and a woman were shot, adding that one of the men had life-threatening injuries. The condition of the other two victims was not immediately known. 
No arrests have been made. 
No other information was immediately available.
Irving Plaza is a 1,025-person ballroom-style music venue.

She might have 700 Facebook friends but the six-year-old has spent her entire life in kennels having been rejected by 18,720 visitors in six years.

Described as ‘sweet’ and ‘friendly’, Freya was taken in by Freshfields Animal Centre in Liverpool as a six-month-old stray and staff are now worried she may never find a permanent home.
Deputy kennel manager, Kate Jones, 35, said: ‘Freya was brought into the rescue as a young stray but nobody came forward to claim her.
‘She has been here many years now and is constantly overlooked, which breaks our hearts as we adore her. We do not understand why she has been overlooked for so long.
‘Every year we update her age on the website and it absolutely breaks our hearts to see her getting older and has never had a home. She is a beautiful girl, so loving and friendly. She is our big baby.’
To make matters worse, Freya has just been diagnosed with epilepsy.
Her condition requires medication and blood tests every three months and the centre is hoping it won’t put off potential owners.
‘We would be delighted to see Freya go to her forever home, like every dog deserves,’ Kate said.Of course there would be tears our end as we have looked after her for six years. 
‘But they would be tears of happiness and joy, as Freya has so much love to give and her future home will be very lucky to have such a wonderful companion.’
The centre says Freya is looking for an adult-only home and need a calm and patient owner.
‘Freya has so much potential, she just needs someone to give her that chance’ Kate continued.
‘She may take a few weeks to settle and calm down, but that is understandable after her poor start to life.
‘We are sure that she will make the most wonderful friend if only someone will give her the chance she so desperately needs and deserves.’

Our Kanye sources say they've already replaced the gear ... and no info was compromised thanks to some heavy-duty tech security. 

Law enforcement sources tell us they don't yet have any suspects ... but we're told Kanye's team believes it was someone with direct knowledge of what was in the space.

The unidentified couple who were vacationing in Dali stripped bare and posed naked for photos on the streets of the city known for its picturesque scenery and they also posted it online.

The photos reportedly published by Weibo user @Bianbianshigeyehaizi went viral on Wednesday, May 25 and not everyone was amused by the sight.The Weibo user later deleted the controversial photos following a flood of criticisms and disapprovals.

Dali Police said the couple’s behavior was deemed as “illegal,” and they will be detained for more than 10 days in accordance with China’s law that stipulates detention of 10 to 15 days and fines for producing or spreading pornographic materials via the Internet.

38-year-old Thai man is recovering from a bloody encounter with a 3-meter (10-foot) python that slithered through the plumbing of his Chachoengsao provine, east of Bangkok home and latched its jaws onto his genitals while he was using a squat toilet.
Attaporn Boonmakchuay is pictured smiling as Thai television stations interviewed him in his hospital bed but photos of his blood-splattered bathroom were testimony to his ordeals.


He told Thai TV Channel 7 that he struggled to remove the snake for 30 minutes Wednesday before he managed to free himself with help from his wife and a neighbour. After his wife tied a rope around the snake, Attaporn pried open its jaws before passing out.

Emergency workers dismantled the Asian-style squat toilet, with the python still twined through it. The snake was taken away to be released back into the wild.

According to an emergency responder cited by the newspaper Thai Rath, doctors said Attaporn, bloodied but unbowed, will recover.

"He has a really good attitude... even though his own wife and children were in shock. He's been smiling and giving interviews all day from his bed," hospital director Dr. Chutima Pincharoen said.
