Maybe it'll work out for them thistime!
Mike Fleiss, the creator of The Bachelor tweeted — and then deleted — some important news about the next season of Bachelor In Paradise on Thursday night, revealing the first three cast members!
It all started as it so typically does with the man behind Chris Harrison's rise to fame, as Fleiss jumped on Twitter and said he had a big announcement coming (below):
Oooh! Oooh! Oooh! Let us guess! Is itOlivia Caridi?!
Sadly… no. It's not Olivia. And while Mike deleted the next tweet (out of secrecy? Shame? Showmanship?!) we can confirm that his initial reveal of those coming to Paradise included three names: Caila Quinn, Lace Morris, and Ben Zorn!
Caila, of course, finished out last year's The Bachelor in third place, vying for and getting close but never quite connecting on love with Ben Higgins. Many thought she was going to be tapped to be the nextBachelorette, before JoJo Fletchertook her place on this summer's love special.
Joining Caila from last year's love will be Lace, the girl who famously eliminated herself during Ben's season after deciding she needed some time to herself. Pretty, funny, and a little wacky, Lace has some good qualities, but she didn't quite get there with Ben; let's see if she has what it takes for BIP.
Then again, it's not a huge surprise that she's been invited; on last season's Women Tell All special in March, Harrison floated Lace an invitation specifically for Paradise, and she accepted then and there on the spot.
Good for her!
Finally, the third reveal yesterday was none other than Ben Z., the man who worked so hard forKaityln Bristowe's heart!
He's gotten himself in great shape, and even though he said last summer that he declined a BIPinvitation, it's apparent that now he's changed his mind!
So there you have it — with the added wrinkle that Fleiss deleted those tweets with the deets! Does that mean these three aren't coming on the show?!
Hmmm… nah, more likely that the creator just wanted to drum up a little publicity for Monday night's new ep, considering he tweeted this immediately afterwards (below):
But wait! There's more!
MOST importantly, Fleiss revealed that he is working on getting Jorge the Bartender back for BIP, typing out (below):
Jorge is the most important guy there — pay the man whatever he wants, Mike! LOLz!!
So there you have it — the (likely) first three contestants officially onBachelor In Paradise!
That show, which premieres later this summer on Tuesday, August 2, won't get its final cast until after JoJo's season of The Bachelorettecomes to a close, but at least we are starting to see it take shape!
